Sing Unto the L-rd A new Song...

This morning I woke up with so many thoughts floating around in my head, I said to myself, I should blog this, so here I am this morning, writing out the thoughts as they come.

Rumors:  How easy is it to believe a spoken rumor, our natural self brought up in this world of tongue wagging, has taught us it is easier to believe a lie than the truth. We are so easy to blame Satan for everything, I know, because I used too. He is just the vessel that brings a whispered thought, and it is us who decide to believe the lie or rumor, it is us, who decide to pass it on, in our own words, and it is us who choose or decide to not choose and let it go in one ear and out the other, Or!.. or, choose to not listen.

Sin:  What exactly is sin? It is an action taken by us, to decidely rebel against the right way.

Sin is disobedience, clear and simple, the choice to sin is completely our own decision to make, our choice, and no one elses. Foe example, if I came to you, and said, I am robbing a bank today, and I need your help, it is your decision to help me (break the law), (steal) and (disobey God), which is Sin.

My sin would be my decision and your sin would be your decision. That is 2 wrongs, and we all know 2 wrongs do not make a right, no matter what. Now, I could argue with the Judge and the police, saying I needed the money, I was desperate, and they would say: you know the Law. God has aready taught me the Law, in the 10 commandments: Thou shall not "Steal". I would be guilty of 3 sins. You would be guilty of the same if, if you chose to help me.

My 4 Sins:   1- I chose to break the law by robbing a bank, 2- I chose to involve another, 3-I chose to disobey God by stealing, 4- I involved you.

Thinking deeper about this, I thought about why we need to share our love for Jesus, and pass the word, it isn't all roses like many like to believe. It isn't always going to be Joyful, walking the road towards our goal, which is living with Jesus in heaven.

Consider this, if you can even imagine it:

Jesus Christ, crucified. Before he was crucified he was whipped with cords that not only stung, but tore his flesh. He was humiliated, spat upon, degraded, hung on a cross, with nails.. not little wall hanging nail, but more like railroad spikes.

Why?

Jesus chose. He made the choice. He did it. Not mankind but Jesus Christ.

For Whom did he decide to die on the cross for?

Me. He chose to die on the cross for (me.)

Now wait, before you freak out, because I wrote he died on the cross for (me). While I am typing this, I know he did it all for (me) my terribly sin, every bad and wrong choice that is sin, in my life he died for.  I suppose right now, you are thinking, how selfish of Grasshopper to think it was only for her!, Well, it isn't true, because, as you read my blog, the ( me ), turns into (you) the reader.

He died for everyone who ever committed sin, (disobedience) whether in thought or action, Jesus Christ died for that person, there is no little sin, no little lie, sin is sin. And, Jesus Christ died for All sin. Every sin, ever committed, he died for, was beaten for, was murdered (Crucified) for.

In that sense I crucified Jesus Christ. My God, my Savior, my Lord, above all my king. I did it. One sin at a time. I (grasshopper) have been on this earth almost 56 years. In my life, I have lost count of all the sin I have commited. You want to know something Else? So has Jesus Christ, who rose 3 days after he was crucified, and lives within me. Praise God. Jesus not only forgave every sin I committed, but, he also forgot about them. Tossed into the sea of forgetfulness. Oh Thank you Jesus. Check out Psalm 103 sometime, and be blessed.

The one thought I want to leave here today, to calmly let it float around in the mind, and eventually make it to the spirit, is this.

Jesus, who died on the cross, died for every sin ever committed, in 2000 years, that is allot of sin.

Until his return, even more sin is committed every tenth or hundredth of a second, every day by everybody everywhere. Jesus Died, for All Sin, He gave his life for us, everyone the whole world, not just a select few.

What have we done for him lately?

Is it really such a horrendous thought to have faith in someone who cared enough for your soul, to stand in the gap for you, by dieing a horrendous death, for you, for me, for the world?

If you or I can believe a whispered word, why then do we all not believe the Lord God?

think about it.
